System software: Virtually all aspects of your Macintosh operating system are supported. People often ask if we support older versions of Mac OS. Since overall industry support is limited for older system software, it it is usually necessary to upgrade to the latest "supported" version of Mac OS, currently: 9.2.2, 10.3.9, 10.4.3, or 10.5.3.* Even if it isn't absolutely necessary, your computer will generally run faster and crash less with the latest system software!
What about Mac OS X? Complete assistance of OS 9-OS X transition is offered - if you're still on OS 9, it's okay - we'll help you bring your computing into the new millennium. Some circumstances do not warrant upgrading to OS X. If you have an older machine or you do not feel comfortable learning a different interface and don't have use for OS X-specific software and hardware, it may not be necessary to upgrade.
Application support: Most current, widely-used Mac applications are supported. Contact us with any specific questions, and we will let you know if we can provide service. Data Recovery: Data loss can be the worst! We offer data recovery services for hard drive and memory cards. IMPORTANT: If you hear any clicking or grinding coming from a hard drive, stop doing anything with that hard drive and turn it or the computer it is inside OFF! Also, if you have lost data, DO NOT do anything on that hard drive. We will have a much better chance of retrieving your data if no more data is written to the drive. We assist businesses in planning and setting up file servers (on Xserves, iMacs, and others) and email servers, and we help establish helpful workflow practices.
